Dolce & Gabbana designer slams Selena Gomez

Italian designer and Melania Trump supporter, Stefano Gabbana, has publicly vilifyied Selena Gomez via social media.

The 55-year-old- who is one half of Dolce & Gabbana ––expressed his disdain for the Good for You singer by trolling an Instagram post uploaded by The Catwalk Italia.

The page shared a series of images of Gomez in red dresses and asked followers to select their favourite look, but Gabbana instead choose to comment “She’s so ugly!!!”.

Naturally, Selena’s fans took umbrage at the designer’s spiteful comment.

"Enjoy the hate that you deserve bc me and the other Selena fans don’t play around," wrote one user. "Why do you have to be such a rude hearted person. Have fun."

"They told me that some stupid man who calls himself a designer said selena is ugly," posted another.

The comment is the latest slight the Italian designer has aimed at an A-list celebrity.

Earlier this week, Gabbana courted controversy when he wrote a scathing comment on a photo of Kate Moss in a short Saint Laurent jumpsuit posted by @thecatwalkitalia. 

The account again asked users to share whether they liked they look or not, with Gabbana simply writing "No"

He’s also expressed his disdain for former pop star-turned-designer, Victoria Beckham, by criticising her design skills.

"She’s a friend. She make a good job but… for us, she don’t make the same way like a fashion designer," Gabbana told The Telegraph.
